Check OTG & USB Connections
If using a mobile phone, ensure the OTG setting is turned ON in your phone settings. Inspect the USB cable for physical damage. Try plugging into a different USB port directly on the motherboard (rear ports on a desktop).
Clean the Optical Sensor
If fingerprint capture fails or times out, the sensor glass may be dirty. Gently wipe the glass surface with a clean, dry microfiber cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or wet wipes.
Update Drivers & RD Service

Restart the AVDM Service
Press Windows Key + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter. Scroll down to find Mantra AVDM. Right-click on it and select "Restart". Wait a few seconds until you see "Framework is Ready to Use".

The 7-digit & 8-digit serial number is printed on the sticker attached to the bottom/back of your Mantra device. It is usually labeled as SR NO: as highlighted in the image.
If the sticker is faded or missing completely:
Plug the device into your Windows PC, open the "Mantra Management Client" tool from your start menu, and click on "Initialize". The software will detect your hardware and display your precise serial number directly on the screen.
